Jordan Becker, Randy Mueller, and I all attended the fall Jazz Band Homecoming Concert. This event was really not up my alley. It was very good, but I'm not much for jazz music and got bored. It was Homecoming weekend (obviously), the company was great even if the music wasn't my style though :)

Lady Panther Soccer Game
Randy Mueller and I went to a women's soccer game in August. It was really nice outside that day. The game was fairly uneventful, our team ended up winning though so that was awesome. I enjoyed going to the game as I used to play soccer in high school, so I knew what was going on and got the teach Randy (who knew nothing about soccer) about the sport. I would definitely attend another soccer game in the future.
St. Louis Zoo
On October 22nd, which was actually a pretty nice day, my Fiance and I visited the St. Louis Zoo. This was interesting because it was FREE. We loved the zoo. Being from Chicago, we were used to the Brookfield Zoo which is expensive and not the best, but we LOVED the St. Louis one!
Apple Days
I went and checked out apple days because of the Chili contest they were having, I mean all you can eat Chili for $5 heck yes! So, my Fiance and I went and it was FREEZING outside. We stood around the fire most of the day and also we petted the animals a little bit. I don't remember the day this took place.
Globe Movie
On September 24th, I went to the Free night shows put on by GC at The Globe and saw the Snow Piercer and stayed for the discussion. I went with my Fiance because she was currently writing an honors paper over that movie. The movie was quite violent and had a lot of blood in it, so that made many people upset and angry. Personally, I enjoyed the movie and the discussion, but I was in the minority. The layout and message of the story, which was based around God, was very interesting.
NEON LIGHTS
On December 12, 2014, there was massive end of the year party at GREENVILLE COLLEGE!!
I would say that it was one of the best "raves I have ever been too." This event, Neon Lights, was so spectacular that it even came with free breakfast. The music selection was on point and the dancing were crazy. This was better than Homecoming Dance!!
Best Game Ever
On December second I went with a group of the soccer guys to the Best Game Ever, which is a 7th and 8th grade basketball game that the college students cheer at. We split the college students into two fan clans, the clan in blue for Greenville and the clan in green for Hillsboro. The whole night composed of both groups cheering on the kids, who really enjoyed it. It was a great time and I can't wait for next years.
Almost, Maine
On December 4th I went to see Almost Maine, by John Cariani, at the factory theater. It was a great show, the acting was good and it turned out to be rather funny. I got to enjoy it with some friends, and I got to support my fellow teammate Parker Wray. Who did an excellent job by the way, and I highly recommend the show.

Photo Shoot
THE COVER
About a month ago I was asked to be the cover of our schools magazine. I was a little nervous but the photographer Sam Allen definitely made me feel better. Lets be honest, who wants to be standing in the woods, freezing, trying to look cute. Bri Phillips, the editor and chief, told me they wanted to use my hair. how odd, oh well, it was fun and surely a wonderful experience for a freshmen to have!
Improv Show
LAUGHTER <3
Almost, Maine
What a beautiful little play!! I admit to laughing a little too loudly at some parts. Okay...most parts I laughed too loudly.. OKAY, I always laugh too loud, its genetic I cant help it!!
The one and the only JACK DAWDY!!!
I went with these lovely people to help support Jack Dawdy.
Christmas Party
HELLOOO EVERYONE.
As much as I enjoy (not really) the Christmas season, I had extra fun at my teams volleyball party on Tuesday the 9th of December!
We all wore sweaters, some people wore incredibly wonderful Christmas ones and others just wanted to look adorable! Our coach Tom Ackerman, a faculty member, hosted it at his home. Him and his wife were very considerate of me being a vegetarian, they offered a delicious vegetarian salad.
Proff, you told me to make a good argument. So here it is. Coach is a faculty member, and it was hosted at his home. Hence that becoming a school sanctioned event.
Enjoy this team photo!!

Common Day of Learning
On December 4th, this was the day when half of the Seniors present their group presentation to anyone who came.

The two that I went were called "Who's Billy?" and "Club Roots." Who's Billy was really good and it had some of the Men's Soccer seniors in the group. They talked about bullying within in GC and tried to fix the problem. They suggested that we have a group of people that are willing to talk to those who are being bullied, Their main objective was to let the everyone know that their is a place to go for help. Club Roots was about feeding kids that live in poorer parts of Bond County. They are trying to give "sack" lunches and dinner to kids. Sodexo is helping with the cause.

Spoken Words
I went to a concert in the Blackroom called "Spoken Words." It consisted of three different people, two are singers and one is a poet. The first person to sing was really good. He sang a lot of his own music about his past experiences.
The next singer did his "screamo" jig with already know songs, just he put it in his own way of expressing them. I even received a free disk of his alternated songs.
The last person to present was the poet. He was pretty good, even though I couldn't understand what he was saying majority of the time. He even has his own poetries on iTunes for sale.

Museum of Science and Industry
On Friday the 21st of November I went to the Museum of Science and Industry with my friend Kris at around 10 Am, and we stayed util around 5 or 6 PM. The first things we looked at was the giant toy train track. It is so big that I couldn't even really get a decent picture from the second story (but Im gonna add the picture I got anyway).
We saw a lot of really cool things, including an x-ray of a nebula, and a whole swarm of Christmas trees inspired by different cultures. The nebula was really cool, but some of the Christmas trees were disappointing because they displayed stereotypes that aren't even true at all. For example, the tree inspired by Belgium had a bunch of waffles on it. Waffles weren't even invented in Belgium! However, most of the trees were pretty cool, and I got a picture in front of the Japan one (my cover picture).
Nebula X-ray
Regardless of a few inaccuracies, the museum was a lot of fun, and I enjoyed myself a lot (to the point of briefly considering becoming a physics major, but then I remembered that involves a lot of math). I would definitely go again, though I will probably explore a different museum next year.
St. Louis Zoo
A while back I went to the St. Louis Zoo with my friend Kris. We went at around 9 AM and left around 5 or 6 PM. It was kind of chilly that day, but it didn't matter because we were walking around a lot anyway. Even though we didn't have time to see everything, we saw quite a few different animals. my favorite was the Burrowing Owl. Alas, I have misplaced the picture I took of it, but it was adorable!
I had a lot of fun at the zoo, and it was very relaxing. I didn't think I would have as much fun as I did at the zoo because I thought I would get bored. However, the vast variety of animals they have kept my attention very well (I may have gotten overly excited about certain animals like the gazelles and elephants).
About an hour before we had to leave we went to the sea lion show. It was really cool to see how many tricks it could do! God's creation is amazing!
Homecoming
In October I went to the 2014 Homecoming dance at 8 PM with my friends John, Jeana, Miranda, and a few other people who I can't remember the names of. Despite the fact that it was an outdoors dance, it wasn't cold in the tent people were dancing in because of body heat. Even if you're like me and would rather dance in the outskirts so you don't have to smell body odor, you could still dance without freezing to death because there was a bonfire. Overall, it was a well planned out event if you're into that sort of thing. Looking back on it from a personal point of view, I probably only had fun because of John.
If you know me, you know that I am not the type of person who usually goes to things like dances and parties, and I really only went because A. John wanted me to, and B. I figured I may as well have the dance experience I never had in high school (quite willingly). That being said, to be perfectly honest, I'll probably not be going to any more dances as long as I can avoid it. If I want to get dressed up, I'll go to an anime convention. I'm not saying I didn't have a good time though - at least for the first half when they were playing good music. After they started exclusively playing rap "music" I was pretty much done. No matter how hard I try, I just can not enjoy myself very much when there is trashy, degrading music playing in the background. I was also disappointed that the dress code was "semi formal" rather than formal. I probably will not go to the Homecoming dance next year, unless there's a formal one (and by formal, I mean the music will be classy rather than full of disrespect).
NSO
NSO was a lot of fun I had a great time hanging out with some of my football buddies as you can see in the picture above with Dylan Massey, Taylor Kaufman and myself. during NSO we went to east St. Louis to a elementary to plant trees with the children then we went back to help re paint some of the parking lot. after that we went to a jungle gym for grown ups and had some amazing food is was very enjoyable and i had a great time.
